Rainbow Palys

I see lots of rainbow palys and many look slightly different. For example, Tropicorium has what they call radical rainbow and others have similar adjectives. Are they really any different or is it just lighting and the pic?

Could be either one. They might be somthing different, but might be just a slightly different morph of the same polyp. Hard to tell somtimes w/ closely resembling polyps.

In my opinion, if they look close enough to the same, and you like them- pick the one you like best, and forget about the rest that all look the same w/ different names.

Alot of shops have different names of the same, more common named polyps out there.

I have some Vivid Rainbows, I think every vendor will come up with their own version of rainbows just u have to choose which to buy.

some people feel that just cause it has at least 3 colors it's automatically a rainbow. but how many colors does a rainbow produce? JMO

^ I agree. The term 'rainbow' is thrown around very loosely, and not just with zoanthids.

Also agree with SP and amore, I suppose whoever is selling 'their' morph add a different adjective for marketing purposes.
