Rainbow Scolymia

I think the Scolymia australis is one, of it not the best, coral for showing off rainbow patterns. I have seen so many so called rainbow Acanthastrea sp. that are simply not and if they are the polyps are to small to appreciate it unless your doing macro photography.

That's a beauty Steve. Fabulous pic too. I can hear Judy Garland now. "Somewhere .... over the rainbow .... blue birds fly".

Photoshop yourself a blue bird in there would you?

What size is that scoly and do they have any unusual care requirements?

Thanks I think I may keep this one! It is about 2". They are very easy to keep. I put them on the bottom and feed once or twice a week.

Nope and the polyp tentacles are short.
