Rainbow Stylo Placement

where do u guys place a rainbow stylo?

high lightin high current

or medium lightin medium current

saw lots of guys place it almost at bottom while the rest at top

I have a piece at the bottom [on sand in 24" tank] and its growing fine.

it seems to apprecaite more flow though.

I have regular stylo, not rainbow, a pic would be nice

i got this frag today its still kinda brown

i guess the flow is ok but its at kinda bottom and edge of my t5 coverage

I had tyree's rainbow stylo from wwc.
I got the nice pink with blue polyps but I just could not get the coral low enough to cause the yellow/green to appear. It needs lower light, and my tank was not deep enough to get the awsome colors. I am not dimming my lights just for the one stylo colors, I'd rather have acros.

Placement depends on what type of lights you have and how strong

Marke is right placement depends on what you have for light, but I have a 150W MH and I have it in the shade of a rock and out of direct flow and it's doing really nicely--so low light and low flow for me. Previously I had it directly under the light in very high flow and it was not as happy, not a lot of extension and color was not as good, it's now finally getting the reds and pinks in. I would recommend very low light and low flow for most stylos IMO.
