I saw one at my lfs and was wondering if they are reef safe and hardy? Thanks in advance.

yes they are both reef safe and hardy. they however, stay small and will need to be housed with non-aggressive tank mates.

From my experience, they also don't eat very well. You've got to be sure you can feed them.

they need filament algae to be well in aquarium ...if your tank is clean and no algae... do not try them... they will starve ... but they are peacefull and small
