rainfordi goby paring

My LFS has 2 small rainfordi gobies that are acting like a pair. They never leave each others side. They are on the small side, no longer than 1.5".

I know rainfordis are intolerant of eachother except when they have paired off. I am wondering is this true pairing or will they grow out of this behavior?

Very cool. I once bought a similar pair of these gobies from an LFS, but they "went missing" in my big tank

Sweet. I just have to re-home my six-line then. I had a rainfordi as my first fish, he got along well with my swisguard basslet. Then I added a six line and never saw him again

I went back to the LFS to pick up the pair so I could begin the QT process while i attempt to catch my 6-line. Well the store sold one of the two. I was quite shocked that the store didn't sell them as a pair.
