Raising height - changing brightness

I've been having my Gen 2 Radion 7" above the water line on a 24" x 24" x 12" tank and would like to raise it to at least 9" to get a little wider spread and better coverage. I've been running the Shallow Reef setting with a brightness/intensity of 50%. I have some SPS that I don't want to shock too hard so any idea what an acceptable change in brightness would be when raising from 7" to 9" (say 60%?). Obviously I don't have a PAR meter or I wouldn't be asking :). I'm hoping 9" would be a good call but maybe others with this shallow tank setup can chime in.

Drawman,

If yo uare only raising the Radion by 2 inches, I wouldn't recommend increasing your intensity right away. You may find it necessary after a period of time, but that is a very minimal adjustment.

Thanks Alex. I might end up leaving it as is then and doing a four week adjustment to 55% or so to make up the difference.

I'm about to ask an obvious question but as far as the adjustment period if I want to go from a brightness level of 50% to 55% the starting point would be 50/55=91% correct (to attain a starting level of 50%)? At least that's what it appeared to be on the graph.

Thanks,
Tim
