Raising Magnesium

Hello guys,

I just want to ask, i already mix up my magnesium chloride right bottle(yellowish), just want to know that is that magnesium chloride is yellowish colour? and my left bottle are magnesium sulfate(epsom salt) that is clear. my mix is 5:3 to 1 gallons.

And one more is how do i dose these chemical? do i need to put in one shot 1 gallon?

I have never had my magnesium chloride turn yellow like that, what brand are you using

i don't know, i just buy from chem lab, i think it manufactured in china. it is safe for reef? because it yellowish colour?

I use Mag Flake which is magnesium chloride used for melting snow on sidewalks, obviously not pharmaceutical grade by a long shot. I get a 50 pound bag for $22 and it mixes up clear.

I think your stuff has some kind of contamination and I wouldn't use it.
