Random growth

I been cycling my tank for a few days now and noticed that I gave something growing in my rock any suggestion

Wow, yeah definitely looks like a sponge to me. If so, a great addition to whatever else you have that is biologically filtering your water. How large is it?

Yes, that's a sponge. Good filters and they come in many different colors and shapes...most are good.

Looks like a sponge. They feed on the microscopic stuff in the tank which cleans the water in a sense so it's good.
