Random lights off problem

Sometimes during the day my main lights(4x39w T5s on Icecap 660) will turn off. No setting for temp or time is making them do this. I did recieve the recall notice for the DC8 and have not checked my serial number because it is almost impossible to get to. Is this problem related to the faulty ground? I think I am going to follow the recall and get a new DC8.

I was having a problem with my lights coming on and off when they shouldn't be. I e-mailed Curt, and he sent me a firmware update that seems to have solved the problem.
