Have anyone every seen this mantis before for sale or anything. I really like it and am trying to find a mantis that grows to about 5" max and is a little less common then a peacock?

i had a R heiroglyphica for a while that unfortunatly died.
They are hard to come by i think, very interesting species. Mine would smash open rock and feed on in fauna.

wow that is a cool looking mantis. I guess it's just luck of the draw to see what I find. Dr. Roy is there a site that has like more then what you listed in term of pictures of different mantis?

i am not roy but there isnt really any other sites that i know of, try browsing stomatopod.com and look for the user DJTimmy, his website has lots of photos but is in german.
FYI i got mine as a large green mantis and paid £40 - about the going rate for a large peacock, the animal was about 4 inches long.

I've only caught six R. komaii in my life - all in deep water off Moorea.
