i've been looking at this for a few days now and i think im gonna go this route just have a few questions in general about the LEDS. i have a 55 gallon tank so not sure which kit to go with. im leaning twards the 48 ultra premium kit. As the lenses go with the 40,60,and 80 deg does that refer to what angle the light is put out at ? if so wouldn't the 80 give the widest angle of light ? also from what i've seen on the site they have hanging kits that are all suspended do they have to be suspended or can they sit on top of the tank ? i don't have a canopy (thinking about a DIY with all the wood i have sitting around that wouldn't be a problem.) or i have a few flurocent lights sitting arund in the basement since i put in can lighting so i might be able to squeeze it under one of those. i wouldn't be able to get away with drilling holes in the ceiling and having the lights suspended with cables that just wouldn't fly with the boss. any thoughts from people that have done this ?
