Nice torch Jdmhonda954. I might have to add one to my mixed reef. Let's get some more pics of torch corals. Especially those green with pink/purple tips.

They have many photos of corals in the wild as well as photos of skeletons, which can help a lot.

Here is a horrible pic. I don't have my good digital home, but when I get it I will be sure to take some new pictures.

The colors are really washed out. I hope you can see maybe a little from the picture.

okay so like i said my old host is gone,, and so were my pics.. i took some just now on a high iso setting because my torch moves a lot so forgive the grainy-ness the cam is like 4 years old and thus my technology for cams is severely behind the times..

thats what you are looking for right? if i could come up with some of the older pics youll see he was 7 heads.. and long tentacles made him look like a softball

EXACTLY... man i wish mine still looked like that... on the upside i think that top head that the clown is in is getting ready to split.. it is REALLY wide compared to the hole in the skeleton it comes out of... like it literally expands about 500% and yesterday it looked like there was a line across the center being pulled in.. maybe for a split.. who knows... time will tell..

mine was that dark back in the day... under the same light it is under now... but now because it can expand larger (less heads = less competition for light) its lost some zoox. that i didnt need.. mine is under a 150 DE MH phoenix 14k bulb
