Hey reefers,

I got a sweet image of a rare lemon peel angel...does anyone know how to post the image or copy it. Its in a word doc file. I was unable to post it....

if anyone can reply, i would glady post it

What makes it rare? Lemonpeel angels aren't that rare. We have a hybrid on our site, but even at that... still not rare.

it can be very rare if it is so called 'tigerpyge' type(lemonpeel x ebili)..or lesser rare if 'scribbled' type...
but i really wonder whether OP is that much informed..:bum:

Wonder what ever happened to the Tigerpyge? I know the kid that bought it originally was selling it, along with his whole set up, last year........

Must've been drug dealing kid :hmm3: to have the $$ to buy that fish? or am I mistaken on price...

ok reefers, i re-sized the image and should be able to upload it..Its kinda small but still worth veiwing.

In a deepwater lemon peel aparently collected south of California.

It's a hybrid between vrolicki and flavissimus. The big black spot in the center of the body will disappear with growth, but the blue spots will probably stay.

I don't doubt your expertise, but...
Where's all that orange come from?

You even a vrolicki on your homepage...

Seriously? Good one, all photos above are mine. I can show you about 100 photos of vrolicki X flavissimus hybrids, not a single one is identical to the other, many have blue spots, many have orange, many others are almost red due to the camera with which they were photographed. There is a lot of variation in hybrids (and I mean all hybrids, not just these vrolicki X flavissimus). Check this one:

I know for a fact that those are hybrids, confirmed with genetics. I did not sequence the DNA of the exact fish in the photo, but sequenced many with those blue spots and confirmed they were hybrids.
