(I kill me...)

Looks like a bottom dweller. Is it aggressive at all? Also, does it really have red eyes, or is that from the flash?

Meet:
(sp) Bigassedius frozenfeedumbottomus

He’s a bottom dweller from the arctic to southern Alaska, principally in the Pacific, and its been sighted in the northern Atlantic (Denmark, Greenland & Iceland), although this one was spotted in the relative shallows (1,600 feet) near the coast of Norway.

It has zero pigment, because of the crushing depth and absence of light. His eyes are used to lure small carnivore prey, mainly snails and Other Colder water dwelling crustaceans, and his flat bottom, allows him to warm his cold-blooded system against a comparatively warmer earthen floor shelf.

Notable:
The tendency to observe this bizarre creature is increased proportionately with a larger consumption of libationary fluids by observers, which has unfortunately compromised some of the creatures documented sights.

A rare find, indeed!
