I have a brown ocellaris too. I love the color. I finaly got a pair going, the male is a black ocellaris. Maybe the fry will all be dark colored,

Is this "birth defect" passed on to the offspring so that the offspring end up "stubby" as well?

How can you tell if an ocellaris is the brown variety versus "under pigmented" because of shipping or inadequate diet?

seen them diving and they have been photographed by fautin and Allen,

and mine eats what the others do so would have regained and colour loss due to stress.
