rasing brine shrimp

anyone have any tips or tricks on rasing brine shrimp to adult hood, what you feed them, and how you care for them..

I have done that with my left over bbs. If you feed brine shrimp with live phytoplankton, they will grow. It took mine about a month to grow to a small adult size. It was not really worth it to grow them out since an LFS near me sells live adult brine shrimp cheaply.

bs will eat anything that has small particles or will dissolve in water. you can even grind up flake fish food and feed it to them. I feed mine spiurlina and phyto paste mostly. you can even put meds in the water and they will eat it and bioencapsulate inside their bodies to feed to fish.

10 gal tank, air bubbles, live phyto added once per week (enough to keep water cloudy), heater, and you'll have adult brine shrimp in 2-3 weeks.

i usually get near adult size in just 2 weeks. takes over a month in a unheated tank..
