You're right. There's a bunch of those ugly anemone things on the rock.
How do you get rid of them between the polyps without harming the Rastas.

I agree. Phillip I might have nuked one of the purple hornets. I was using picking Lyme past to nuke the anemones and some dropped right on a polyp. It's still closed tight. Stinks because I'm already getting a new bud.

I use lemon juice in a needle. Im gonna try something else like a animal of some sort. I dont mind killing off the big ones but if I could get some help from a peppermint shrimp or a nudi it would be nice

Peppermints are hit and miss (more hit for me) and nudis are more miss IMO. Persistence is the only way. Its best to nuke out of tank too, cause if you do it wrong, they will explode babies everywhere. GL, kill em all

This sucks. I've been able to keep mine in control but the rock "nice piece for my tank" the Rastas came on are covered.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. I just never fragged. . Nor do I have the stuff to do so. There are like 19 polyps on the rock.

Buy your self some razors and super glue and frag them. I use a hobby knife works alot better for me depending what the zoa is on. Not all peppermints eat apstasia. Blue zoo sells the as either apstasia eating or reg peppermints

Hey I didn't realize that rock was that bad. Get some sodium hydroxide (lye) and make a 2-3M solution. You can find the how to if you google it, just make sure you turn off all the flow in your tank before you hit the little suckers with a needle.

My peppermint shrimp and file fish keep my tank free of them. I have even put rocks in for my friends and they have cleared them out every time.

I felt lucky. I went to a LFS just across the CT border from me Rastas go $20.00 pp. I got like 19 for $15.00 whole rock.
