Just get some lye, mix it in rodi water per the instructions you can find online and then apply it to the asptasia just like you would with kalk paste. The lye basically makes calcium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide when it comes into contact with seawater (if I did my chemistry right). So in essence you are making liquid kalk I believe. After a couple treatments then that rock should be fine. Just take it out of the tank and do it in a qt tank or bucket so if one does release anything then you got nothing to worry about. If you apply carefully you should lose any polyps.
