I've had my anemone for 3 months and it has literal doubled in size so I though it was happy. Today it disappeared?!?? Probably in the rock but why? It hasn't moved 1" till today.

Nitrates 5ppm
Alk 7.5 steady with kalkwasser
Calcium 380
Salinity 1.024

New addition peppermint shrimp

I have seen some after years of staying in the same spot just get up and decide to take a walk. I know different shrimps and crabs can irritate BTA, not sure about peppermint shrimp. As long as color is great, still sticky, still taking food, and styaing inflated you are fine. Pictures would be great.

I would like to take pictures but it is completely gone... Thinking about disassembly of rock work just to find it. It was a very nice pink and getting quite large for the nano. It ate the day before the disappearance.

It could be splitting. Mine will go into the rockwork split and come out in a couple of days...

That's what I'm hoping for. It's only reason I haven't started disassembling the rock work. It's about 7 inches across. Is there a size the usually split?

Yeah I would give it a couple of days. If it split it will need some time to heal. I don't think there really is a size when they split. I've seen all sizes split...

Found it

Would not have thought it could fit there but... I would have been wrong.

Coming out and looking good..

I have worried about the peppermint because my old one was a monster that had a taste for acans. But I see no visible damage.
