RBTA color question...

I am considering buying a RBTA from a local reefer RC member. He got the RBTA's from a not so good situation (not enough flow, light, water conditions, etc.) as you can see they are pretty bleached. This is my first anemone so I would like any input on the conditions of the RBTA in the photo. I have no reason to distrust the guy seems to be a good guy and is not asking a lot of $$$

Assuming you have the proper conditions (light, will provide proper food, etc.) there is a very good chance the anemones will color up again and be fine.

thanks for the help but there's no way to tell for sure if they are red(rose) is there? I don't see any color, do you?

I agree. You could be rescuing the thing and if the price is right then there's little risk. It's still bubbling so that's good, I've seen them worse (white and kind of gnarly) and they came back very big and vibrant in color.

When RBTAs bleach, they don't lose their red/pink pigments. If they are bleached roses they should be "highlighter pink" right now. As it is they have very small spots of pink on the tips. When they color up they with be green with small pink tips.
