RBTA hosting tomatoes clown

I was gone for the weekend and returned home today and got to see my clown hiding in the anemone

Don't mind the lighting. I turned all the lamps on trying to account for all the fishes....

Ever since the female clown got with the anemone the male clown stays away from both of them....is that normal? They were a happy pair before

Give him time he should join in as well. My male took a day or so after the female.

A week!

I had tank bred tomato clown initially so I caught them and traded in for a wild pair.

Congrats! Keep an eye on the clown closely over the next few weeks. I have a pair of cinnamon clowns (same family as tomato) and they are known for being quite rough with nems. If the nem isnt 3-4 times the size of the clown it could "tough love" it to death. When my RBTA split the two new nems were obviously much smaller and the clowns almost killed them for being a bit to rough. Dont want to alarm you just figured id give you the heads up so you can keep a watchful eye. Hope it turns out for the better and again congrats!! Its imo the coolest relationship in our hobby to see

Thanks! I will keep an eye on them. its around 2-3 times bigger during the day...I love seeing the clown snuggling in the nem at night.
