Hello,
I have a 29gal Bio-Cube. My RBTA was doing ok, it did not really have the bubble tips but did have good coloration and growth. I feed it occasionally but most of the food it gets comes from the water column with the hosted clown often grabbing larger chunks of the frozen food I feed the tank and delivering them to the nem.
I recently upgraded my lighting from the stock compact fluorescents to a Radion 15 Pro. The nem moved about an inch and planted its foot down in a nice crevasse. It now frequently "œbubbles up" nicely and seems to really appreciate the new light.
However, it now is doing something I have not seen it do before. Once or twice a week, after fish feeding time, it will completely deflate. Generally it is when the nem has picked a few small pieces of food out of the current. By morning it is back to normal.
Is the normal or something I need to be concerned with?
