rbta natural split, healing time

I did some search, but didn't find what I was looking for. How long does a natural split take to heal before I can sell it?

From what I have read and I'm not an expert by any means, they can heal from the split within 24 hours, but most people give them a week just to make sure.

Natural splits are easier on the nem than cutting them, but they still expend a lot of energy and should be given some time to recover as much as heal.

I believe it will take a lot longer then 24 hours for a split to heal since they have to form a new mouth that was split in half. I would probably wait well over a week to consider selling it. Making sure the mouth is completely formed.

I've sold about a dozen of late with probably half having split within the last 6 weeks. They took about 2 weeks before the mouth fully formed and they took food. They tend to hide in a dark spot before that. Once they are healed they will venture back into the light. Doesn't take too long if the orginal nem is healthy and well fed prior to splitting.

Mine took about 2 weeks as well.

Mine split about two weeks ago now, they look good and healed but no visible mouths on either parts....
