RBTA Question

I have had my RBTA for about 3 months now without a single issue, although it lost that true bubble tip appearance after a few days which I didn't like...

Anyways, I recently started feeding it bigger chunks of squid and shrimp instead of using a turkey baster with mysis or brine. It seemed to eat them very well and all looked great for several days.

Just last night it shriveled up and looked like death was looming. All of the tentacles shrunk and several looked like they were incredibly frail and weak. It flattened out and moved to a lower spot on its favorite rock and then started oozing a dark colored substance that I can only hope indicates that it is expelling waste. My clowns will not leave its side and I was worried that they were only making things harder for the RBTA, but I have no idea if that is the case here.

What do you guys think is going on here? Is this the typical method of expelling waste? I have a few pictures (poor quality iphone sorry) that may shed some light given my poor description.

Also would love to know what anyone has done to bring back that bubbled up look. I have read that there really isn't a science to the bubbled up look and its generally a guessing game as to what will prompt that look.

I recently (2 weeks ago) switched my lights from T5's to Reef Radiance DM155s. Although that did not seem to change anything for the RBTA from what I have observed.

Thanks in advance!

From time to time my RBTA will deflate. Usually if the exspelled substance is a dark color its probably just waste. Give it a day or two.
