RBTA Questions

I have a RBTA issue. It is in my 92G that is lit with a Sunpod (2x150W). The anemone is probably 14" across when fully extended. I was hoping it would split but no such luck. I read somewhere that it may be growing because of a lack of sufficient lighting. I find that difficult to believe. It's in the upper 1/3 of the tank. Is there something I can do to get it to split? Prior to being in the 92G it was in my 40 breeder that was lit with 2 x 96w PC's. It grew from 3" to about 8" before moving it to the 92. It's just overtaking the tank. I do 15% W/C's every 2-3 weeks. I feed this thing infrequently but the GSM clown feeds it more regularly.... Suggestions?

You might try a large water change followed by a heavy feeding. Mine split after these two incidents. I didn't do it on purpose, just happened to work out that way. There is really no guaranteed way to get a nem to split. Some may never split, while others may split every month or two.

Whenever I try to split my RBTA, which I do pretty regularly, I just feed it as much as it can possibly eat. I accidently found this method after my flame angel died and my anemone got hold of it. It actually ate the angel! and next morning it split. So every time my anemone gets big I begin feeding it large fish, mostly large silversides. The anemone sees there is a lot of food to provide for another anemone and it splits.
