RBTA slightly deflated with white mouth

my RBTA is thriving and growing like crazy. Tonight is is slightly deflated and the mouth is a striking white. Definitely different than normal. The little maroon clown feeds him a lot. There is also white around my big maroons eye but seems to be more injury related than disease. I'll have to test params but they are usually 1.025 sg, 0 Amm/Nitrite and less than 5 nitrate. Mag was at 1470 last check and Alk was 7.85 and calcium 430. I'll need to test everything again.

Could he be overfed? Usually they get mysis but yesterday they got reef frenzy. They get that from time to time. Tried taking a photo and it's terrible.

Thoughts?

The white appeared on my big maroon a few days ago. It doesn't seem to be impacting his behavior and not getting worse. Clowns have been in for almost 4 months and RBTA about 2.5 months.

My BTA will occasionally have what you could describe as a white puffed up mouth but I have only ever noticed it if I feed reef roids ect and I put it down to a feeding response I then plonk a piece of mussel onto the anenomie and it chomps it down fine.

When they deflate they are clearing out as long as it has good colour and mouth not sagging should be fine :)

Great thanks. The color is still good and what you describe is what I'm seeing. I think I put a little too much food in yesterday and perhaps the male clown over treated him
