My big captive cloned RBTA decided to spawn tonight. It released it's sperm for a good hour and clouded up the tank. Everything seems to be doing ok and my corals are loving it. My question is why is it deciding to do this now since it has been in my tank for several months and has never done this before? I recently added another wild caught RBTA (last week) so would that have prompted it to do this? I have heard that stress can cause them to spawn but it has acted healthy since I put it in the tank.
Has anyone had any negative experiences with thier RBTA's spawning?
