rbta stuck in overflow

so i woke up this morning to find one of my rbta stuck in an opening in the overflow. he is very much alive but i cant free him and not sure what to do.
his foot is too big to pull through and so is his mouth. not sure how to free him without damaging.

I would wait and see what side it goes thru and move it then.To hard to do anything now without hurting the Nem

maybe prompt him with a little ice. They usually draw away from the cold.
