Re: Deresa Clam

I have a large deresa clam and i have on the bottom of my 90 with 250 Mh and T5"s, this is the first clam i have ever had, and it is receeding a little,is this due to to much current, noth enough light or I am going to lose it? It has been opend real well and I just noticed this today. Should I just keep an eye on it or pull from the tank? Please advivese and Thanks!

is its mouth gaping? if not, what type of fish do you have in the tank? check under its foot to see if you see any small snails...pyramidal snails.

My peramiters are calcium 425 Kh 8.6 Magnesium 1425 Ph 8.0 salinity 1.025 tank temp ranges from 78 to 79 I have tangs, wheeler gobie, wrasse, clowns, red and blue crabs, snails, I noticed a blue crab in near the shell of the clam it still has good color all other corals look great! What are the signs jif it is on its way and when should I pull it? the mouth is gaping is this a bad sign?
