Re-scaping Question???

Is their anything special I have to do/look out for when I am re-scaping? Is their anything I need to do before I do it? Is their a best time to do it?

Depending on how long the tank has been running you may have a bunch of crud under your rocks that you may want to siphon out. When I rescape I do it on a day when I am planning on a water change. This way I can siphon out what I need to and also can use the old water to swish the rock out with. I also am careful to pull the rock out so the crud doesn't go all over the tank. HTH

I would say if you have a sandbed that has been established for some time, to be careful about stirring up the sand too much as it can release toxins into the water column
