After four years, I had my first tank-wide crisis which resulted in the loss of 3 fish. My gfci switched off while I was gone, although there was no ground fault that I can tell since the new one I purchased is operating fine, and oxygen deprivation killed a false perc, a flame angel and a purple tang, all that were at least 9 years old (I bought the tank used). After getting over the loss, I now have the ability to restock the tank with different fish and I am looking for some advice as to suitable, interesting and colorful fish.
Besides a mate for the false perc since he is no longer leaving the hammer he has hosted, it is a blank slate and I have really been wanting to keep smallish wrasses, including flashers. If I introduced them simultaneously, what would be inappropriate species to pair? I am thinking of adding two different wrasses and maybe one other fish (reef safe). Thanks for your input.
