I'm about to completely re-aquascape my tank and I would like to take the opportunity and add a new fish or 3 to the tank. :p Problem is, I can't make up my mind on what to get! So giving the following, what would you get, do, recommend, or like to see happen?

I'm sold on either:
1. a new wrasse
2. multiple new wrasses
3. another dwarf angel
4, another dwarf angel and wrasse.

Here's all the info you may want:

Stock:
1 - Coral Beauty Angel
1 - Yellow Coris Wrasse
1 - Christmas Wrasse
2 - Ocellaris Clown Fish

Tank:

75g, standard 4' footprint
40 breeder sump, large refuge section
140+ish lbs of LR, RDSB
Up and running for 1 year 5ish months.

Parameters:
pH 8.1 - 8.3
Temp 76-78
sg 1.026

Everything else is within accepted ranges. I have a dosing system and do weekly 10% water changes pretty religiously.

Pair up your coral beauty. As for the wrasses maybe a harem or smaller fairy wrasses or flasher wrasses. Or a group of one of the smaller anthias species.

I haven't even thought about trying to pair up the coral beauty. What would the odds be of it pairing with some random CB I put in with it? If anyone has some insight and wisdom with pairing dwarf angels, any input/guidance would be much appreciated.

The more I think about it, the more I am convinced I just need to upgrade to a bigger tank! Then I won't have to choose between which, and can add some of all! :p

If you click my homepage it goes to my Argi angel thread. But get a smaller one for sure. Use an acclimation container, and there will probably be some aggression initially. They should work it out and you will have a pair. If you have a twilight period they will spawn nightly depending on water temperature.

Thanks for the input! I have read through your thread, and you have made up my mind... Definitely going with another coral beauty. :D I have slowly started falling in love with Angels more than any other type of fish, having a pair of Centropyge in my first tank would be an awesome experience!

What would your opinion be on adding 2 and making a trio? I've seen a couple of tanks of similar sizes with trios and larger groups of flame angels, but I don't want to attempt that many if it would be crowding them with the other fish already present in the tank.

Depending on your QT procedure you could do it. I would be inclined to QT them seperately because if the two new CB are together, I would think the dominant one would begin changing to male and then you could have some problems upon introduction.

Other than that I think your fine with your size tank.

The only thing is whether or not 18 in. is enough of a rise for them to spawn, but I would think so. Depending on your substrate depth.

My Argi angels spawned in standard 29 gallon tanks, that were 18" deep and probably an inch lower than all the way full so 17". Spawned fine and got fertile eggs that hatched. Coral Beauty is a little bigger species, but I think its possible.
