I have been using the Next Reef reactors, works great, just much bigger than I need.

I only use 1.5c at a time. Would the TLF 150 be the way to go? Or something better built? want one i can run externally.

Thanks,

TLF will be good enough for carbon. You don't want high flow anyway through carbon.I used TLF 550 for over a year without any problems.

I have the BRS reactor and run one cup of ROX in it. It's nice, but I had to cut circles out of a plastic sheet from Michael's to put in between the carbon and the foam pads to keep the carbon from getting out. Now it works great. The plastic sheet was one dollar and is used for knitting I think. There are two kinds and I used the kind with the really small holes, not the larger ones.
