Reactor Question

So looking for more detailed information I find various opposing ideas on running carbon in my reactor. the detail im curious about is the rinsing part. some say its okay to use freshwater to rinse carbon some say use the water from tank. if i use freshwater like tap to rinse the carbon wouldnt logic dictate that the impurities would be clogging my new carbon as it is rinsing? trying to get the most out of it may seem small in the grand scheme but I was just curious to everyone's opinion.

While in theory you will be pulling impurities out of your rinse water, in practice it won't spend enough time there to make an effective difference. A compromise would be to use RODI water to rinse out your carbon. I would not waste salt water for the job.
