reactors/dosing systems?

I am looking to possibly set up some reactors (ca and kalk) as well as a dosing pump. Which ones would you recommend? I have a 130 gallon tank/50 gallon sump. What reactors are most beneficial for a reef tank? Getting tired of self dosing...

I use a Bubble Magnus BM-101 dosing pump along with BRS 2 part and Mg. It is very easy to program and has been working great for almost 2 years now. You'll want to keep the dosing tubes high enough from the water that they don't submerge and clog. A few other locals use the same system. JP

I use the the dosing pumps on timers. Haven't had them a long time but so far very easy and reliable.

okie dokie...finally got the spectrapure unit (you were right about the "why didn't I do this sooner" spiel), at the PROP meeting you told me that "we couldn't be friends" since I didn't have a RODI unit...guess we can be friends again? lol

OK, I will add you back to my friends list. :)

I picked up this same unit about 4-months ago after seeing it in operation at Jeff's and Hunter's. Very happy with the unit and definitely one of those things that caused me to go "Why did I wait so long to get one!?!?"

We were just out of town for 5-days and knowing my neighbors only had to add a little food each day and give things a quick glance, rather than adding chemicals, was really nice.

I also picked up the "Seaside Aquatics" 1.5L containers -- they're sold as a package deal in some stores. They're nice, but not necessary. If you have the room, go with the larger storage containers, or just use the BRS containers.
