real reef rock

i am interested in stocking my 75G reef tank with real reef rock. does anyone have it in their systems now, and is the stuff they claim about it true? or is wild rock better?

I have some of it. Bought it when I started my tank. Not really a big fan of it, it doesn't seem to have the fine pores, and the purple is kind of unnatural. I like the Carib sea rock for base rock. It's harvested from dry beds so it doesn't have the environmental impact, and no unwanted hitchhikers.
