how big do left handed zebras get, how big do halloween hermits get, are they related, reef hermits are the coolest ones lol...

also , I have 2 mj 1200s in my 30 long 36" long, they are not on at the moment as the recent addition of my cute little clownfish. there is a smaller one on now, is this two much movement? I dont want to stress/kill him?what should I do./ I heard aim them at the center for a random water flow. if it is too much, what size should I get?

ALSO, does anything at ALL eat cyano? a few pieces of my new live rock have some cyano on them. there 1 more question but I forgot it lol

1) Haloween hermits get the size of scarlets I think. Actually look here: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/scateg.cfm?pCatId=501
2) Clowns sort of look like they're struggling when they're swimming into the current but they like it as long as there are quiet places they can go to chill out. You've got 600gph in a 30 gallon which is 20x circulation. That's somewhat high but probably fine. I think the more the better until stuff starts blowing around or shriveling up =)
3)I don't think anything really eats cyano. It's easy to syphon it off though.

ya i kind of picked it with the hose and it came off. the thinner stuff I think will need some scrubbing. thanks.
ALSO lol what are these things!!!! They look like snails with no shells, or internal shells.I thought they were nudis but aparently they're not. they have ridged stripes. Anybody have a snail pic?

oh no, must be the wrong name, this hermit has black and orange stripes. Looks like a lefty zebra but orange instead of white. I'll wait to put the 1200's on until it is full lol. SOON I hope. lol

The Halloween Hermits are just a variation of the zebras (calcinus) or left-handed hermits. I had one take down a neon goby and have refused to keep them since then, though most people keep them without issue. Stupid zebra killed 1 of my mated pair of neon gobies. They are listed as getting about 1" but the one I had was a bit larger - probably more like 1.5"

grrr....

sorry to hear, I only have 1 white zebra, and he is the way nicer than all of the blues. BUT IT DOESNT MATTER CAUSE MY ORANGE ONE DIED!!!!!!!!!GRRRRRRR I HAVE WANTED 1 FOR SO LONG!!!!

watch him like a hawk ;-P

I haven't had the best of luck with crabs or snails lasting long, except for a trochus I've had for 2 years that is every bit of 3". We call him 'dozer' coz he knocks stuff over a lot.
