Receded blasto colony help

Hello i bought the above colony cheap. Bright red/pink polyps with green centers absolutely stunning BUT the colony has receded somewhat.

I dipped in coral rx didn't notice any pests now it's sitting in my tank now.

Should i still dip it regularly?

I'm gonna try and feed it in a few days with reef roids.

Any suggestions help etc.

Corals don’t always look happy when dipped, but once done I have never done it a second time.
I agree with posting your parameters, but if on point, just give it time to settle.

This is is in my holding tank which has been running for nearly 7 months now. My main display has only two fish in two crabs and 3 snails and nothing will be going in until a least the 6month mark.

Mag 1440
Nitrates 0.2
Phos 0.02
Sg 1.026
Temp 26 degrees

I'm going to start dosing nitrates as there is no fish stock in the tank.

The coral didn't look happy in the shop. But most of his other stock isn't brilliant.

Yup, that number should be in the 2-4ppm range, all others look fine to me.
I can't count the number of times one of my new corals looked unhappy, only to emerge later. If you confident in water, and not to intense light, low flow... just watch for now.
