Receding chalice advice

Hi there,

I have 2 chalices, one is teal with pink mouths this one's doing great. The other has an orange base with teal strips going through it it has started to receded fairly quickly. It's placed on the sandbed, nothing near it to irritate it just did a wc so I'll be posting current parameters tonight but they are usually fairly stable at nitrates and phosphates usually undetectable (do need to change gfo) alk 7dkh, cal 450, mag 1400. I was wondering if I should do an iodine dip if the recession hasn't stopped when I get home should I frag the live piece and glue the cut edge? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yes I would frag the piece first, then do a very light iodine dip, then place it in very low light and low flow.

Thanks for the reply!
I guess this will be my first go at fragging then I'll post before and after pics, hoping I can save it!!!
