Receding Frogspawn

I have a 2 frogspawn corals that have sick heads. One has receded rapidly over the last couple days and has melted into a brown goo, the only thing left is the skeleton. The second piece hasn't receded as bad but isn't fully extended. I thought about dremmeling the dead heads off and dipping both corals in an iodine solution, but not sure that this is the right course of action.

What dips work best to infuse healt back into the little guys? Is there a specific area that should not be cut when dremmeling the heads off?

Thanks for any advice

I would go ahead and dip them, sounds like it may have brown jelly disease. Any coral disease dip works. For cutting the coral up, Make sure you do not cut any of the flesh for one. I try to cut at least 1 " below the last visable part of flesh, the farther the better.
