Received anemone, not as described : (

I just received a BTA that was supposed to be orange with gold tips but it's light pink, looks lightly bleached but healthy. It appeared pink in the bag and still appears pink in my tank under 14000k halides. It's bubbly and the tips are clearly pink, not yellow. I even emailed them and asked them to describe the color which they described as having bright gold tips turning to orange toward the base.

I got it from a well respected vendor that many on this site use which is why I had no reason to believe that I would have received something other than what was described. I won't say who since I am waiting for their response.

Why would they send something so drastically different from what they described? Has this happened to anyone else?

You have to read the fine print of what kind of lights they were useing ... most of them run 400w 20k .. and a 2 thousand dollar cam

I don't think lighting more toward the blue spectrum would make a bleached rose anemone appear yellow.
