I recently bought a 3 x 2 x 2 rimless tank from glasscages.com. While it is a freshwater tank, the reviews from reefcentral with this company caused a lot of umm'ing and uncertainty so I decided to share my experience here.
I sent an email with the description of the tank I wanted. 3 x 2 x 2 rimless two holes in the upper left corner of the back wall for a herbie-style corner overflow and one on the upper right for the return. They got me a quote within 24 hours and I called to purchase. They took my details and to confirm my configuration they went and got a technician to discuss my setup and said it would be on the next truck to Madison.
Picked up the tank from the truck and looked it over. It was pretty! No air bubbles in the silicone between the glass. Lovely looking corner glass overflow. It sounds funny to say about five pieces of glass but it looked absolutely stunning!
I've included a few pics of the build progress as well as initial setup. I can also take photos of any specific items that people would like. I understand that glasscages has a spotty review history and I am just one instance but I couldn't be happier with the customer service, speed of delivery, price and quality of the items delivered! I genuinely think that if they had issues in the past it has been well and truly fixed!
