ok well i see an area around the base on one side of a branching monti that i got about 3 weeks ago

its an orange aqua cultured one

i dont see any flatworms or nudis or anything like that i took it out and closely inspected and in the tank too i looked very closely

its receding slowly on that side and starting to go up the branch slowly

what should i do should i frag it to stop the spread or is it something else causing this

its the only monti i have in the tank

Could you give us some info on the tank, it's perams, equipment list, and if possible a pic of the affected coral? This info will help us help you.

Thanks,
Whiskey

it started as a lil recession around the base and is slowly getting bigger and i cant see whats going on i dont see any bug or anything causing it.... the rest of the coral has great PE and coloring

all my other corals are doing great so i dont know

im thinking i might frag it off the aqua cultured thing it came on and superglue it to some rock work ill try to get a pic later when i get home from work
