I am interested in making my own frozen food that has many different mixtures of prepared frozen foods in it...i have lots of assorted frozen foods right now, so if i let them thaw a little and blend them up, will it work? These were the things i was thinking of blending up:

Cyclopeeze
Mysis and Brine
Plankton
Krill
Squid
Tube worms
Daphnia
And 3 different cubed mixes that have differnt things in them that look like a veggie mixture and a meaty mixture, the other one smells like brine...

Now, would i be able to all a little minced garlic? The kind that i have is Spice World Garlic (minced)

Would i also be able to add dry fish foods?

Are there anyother "human" foods that would also be acceptable to add to the mixture? I really just wanna give my tank a variety of foods.

Any comments?

Is the garlic dried? What is tube worms?
The other stuff you could use for sure. You can add chopped sea food to the mix.
I just made a batch last week, here a thread

I've got some to sell from this batch.
There was another thread about reef sushi, too, about making food.
Eric Borneman has a recipe that you can find with a search and Rod at Rod's reef makes a food that a lot of people use.
The key is to get a lot of different food sizes together in the mix so everything in the tank can feed on it. hth

Instead of using expensive LFS food go to your local grocery store and check to see if they have frozen mixed seafood. I can buy a 2# bag of mussels, clams, oyster, squid, and octopus for under $10.

Thaw and mix in food processer with sushi wrap and cyclop-eez.

BTW, do this when nobody is home, it doesn't smell too good unless you like the smell of a fish market  .

I question the value of adding garlic but to each their own.

Well, i'll probably just go to Jewel sometime and go to the seafood section...pick up some different foods...

I know Cyclopeeze is good, would you recommend adding other prepared foods as well?
