Recommend a return pump

Looking for something thats not too expensive, but decently quiet and low wattage (In Sump). It's going to be pumping up 3.5' with 1 90 degree elbow and needs to be around 200gph after head loss.

Using the Head loss calc The Mag 2 is a little low and Mag 3 is a bit much and has high wattage.

I don't know what effect the elbow will have, but you might want to check out the Eheim 1250.

Checked out that pump, it is nice but a tad out of my price range for this project.

Try maybe Hydor SELTZ or Taam Rio. I've used Rio's before, but only for non-critical stuff. No experience with the SELTZ, but MarineDepot has good reviews on them.

I think he is trying to avoid a Mag 3 or higher because of it's power usage, folks. I own a Mag 9.5 -- it does run hot.

Yeah the mags get pretty hot, what about the quiet one 1200, $23 bucks and 210 GPH @ 3.5' and 1 90 elbow

I use a mag 50.. Crazy Hot!

This one seems like the ticket, Less wattage than the mag 3 and just the right amount of flow!
