currently i am using 2x tunze 6105 with 7096 multicontroller and the over flow is on the right hand side of the tank.

it is one on each side facing each other.

i do not see much wave movement

here is the pic

What mode are you using? To get a wave you need to use inverse wave mode and have the pumps plugged into the last two sockets.

i am using interval with 1 minute and pulse at 30 sec. i have plug into the 1st and 3rd .

Do you recommend for some more wave maker or how to position to get the best wave ?

The position is fine but you need to use wavemode on channels 3 and 4 and set it to inverse and then use autotuning to create a wave, the program you are using cannot create a wave.

sorry Roger what do you mean ? i only have 2 tunze 6105

To be clear, you must have a 7096, if you have a 7095 this is not possible. The 7096 is the computer tuned version.

Right next to the box that has all the record to data, restore from data, send to unit, etc. Is a box labeled wavecontroller sockets 3 and 4.

Check the wavecontroller option and then click the inverse option and plug the pumps into channel 3 and 4. With everything connected at your tank click auto adjust and the program will run through all the frequencies, when you see a wave click stop and make small manual adjustments of - or + up to .05 seconds to get the maximum wave.

so is it recommended for me to pick up another wave box ?

i tried it and wow !

tunze came out the best controller , i can save up on the wave box for this

Are you just using the 2 pumps to make a wave? If so, I would either add a 3rd 6105 and just use it for pulsed flow or add a wavebox and use your 2 6105 in Interval mode (ideal).

Are both 6105 at 18V? I am surprised that this would not be enough flow in such an open set up.

yes.... after the rescape it have enough flow . i have set it at pulsing at 80% strength and at 0.30 sec .

Plan to add another Tunze 6105 from the left side bottom corner to clear the back of the rock valley .

rvitko , my sps at the back seems to get white , i think there is not enough flow even using 2x Tunze 6105 pulsing interval at 100%

what is the gauge that there is enough flow for sps ? is it for sps poly to wave a little ?

In general I think it would be hard not to have enough flow for the corals with these 2 pumps, the main gauge I use is whether detritus is accumulating in certain areas. Too much flow can also cause tissue damage and many other things can cause this as well. Polyp movement is more dependent and the change of flow direction and volume, I would not use that as a gauge.

Try the wavebox nano with the 2x 6105s and I'm sure you will be happy with the water movement. The wavebox really compliments the flow from the 6105s.

Also, I'd avoid moving things around all the time as the sps tend to settle in one spot.
I have found the smaller frags adjust faster to a new spot but larger colonies can take time and suffer die back in shadowed areas sometimes. It can be weeks before they really open up.
I have seen many tanks that don't use wavemakers that have successful sps colonies growing so I would be looking for other answers as to why they are going white.

so the question is like any videos to show that the flow required in sps tank ?
