Recommendation please...

I have a Remora Pro skimmer, currently it has a big MJ on it. I would like to replace. What would be best to get top notch skimmage? 72 gallon if that matters. I will buy from you what you suggest, thanks.

Are you wanting to upgrade the pump on that skimmer, or upgrade to a new skimmer altogether?

Pump only, skimmer seems to be really nice.

You could try running either a Mag350 or Mag500 on that. You could even go as big as a Mag700 if you wanted to, but you would benefit more from that by upgrading to the taller collection cup to increase your contact time of the bubbles with the water.

Both items are in stock. I use the mag 7 with a tall collection cup, and I couldn't be happier with it.

This might be a dumb question but is that Mag700 OK to put to use in a tank? I am not putting it in a sump or fuge.

Got the xtra tall skim cup yesterday and got it in. I must say that is a nice set up with the Mag7 and xtra cup. Anyone looking for a new skimmer set up I would highly recommend the remora pro w/ the above mention set up. It skims great! Thanks for the help guys I appreciate it.
