recommendations for next fishes

I would like some advice on what fish to add next to my 54 gallon corner. I have two black ocellaris, starry blenny, and pistol/goby pair. I would like to get some type of tang and I'm not a wrasse fan. I also don't want to spend a fortune......any ideas??

I think any tang is out in that size and shape tank...if it were a long format you might get away with one of the smaller bristletooths, but, there just isn't enough leg room for a fish that needs to stretch its legs! ;) Have you considered chromis for some top action? I would go with either 3 of a kind, or, mix 3 differant chromis species, such as a green, a blue, and a sunshine. Another fish for consideration, a hawkfish for some color and personality. :)

Agreed. No tanks in that tank. Frankly, there is no configuration of a 54-gallon tank that would be suitable for a tang, even a bristletooth.

Maybe a pair of cardinals or firefish (if the tank is covered), if you're looking for a colorful fish that stays in the water column.

I love angels....will they nip at corals? I'm not planning on keeping any complex corals - probably just mushrooms and some hardy xenia or other hardy types. I do want to keep anemones....will they be ok with that?

Every fish is different. My dwarf angels have occasionally nipped a little at sps and gorgonians, but have left my mushrooms, riccordia, zoanthids, toadstools and other leathers alone. Xenia and anthelia are iffier, but might be left alone, too.

Cherubs are probably the safest, and they're very pretty and stay small, but they can get kind of obnoxious.
