recommendations for pump

I need a new return pump. Something in the range of 1000 gph. I'm looking for quality and reliability and energy effecient would be a plus. Any recommendations

Eheim 1260 or 1262.

I use the 1262 on my 120 via two returns - that pumps runs rings around the Quiet One 4000 I had.

1262 for sure. I've used a 1260 for over 10 years now One impellar replacement thus far

I bought the Ehiem 1262 and have been using it for a month for my returns. I've had no problems with it (unlike my Sedra). I measured the flow and I get about 460 gph. I T'd off the return into 2 returns, which are about 5' above the pump. If you want more flow than that consider a larger model.
