Recommended fish in a clam tank

Will six-line wrasses do anything for clams? I have heard mixed results - sometimes they like to eat the snails, sometimes they ignore them. Does anyone have experience with them?

I have had no trouble with the following fish in my current systems:

barnacle blennies
sailfin algae blenny
6 line wrasse
candy hog
yellow watchman
green spotted mandarin
psychadelic mandarin
purple tang
cinnamon clown
false percula clown
yellow tail damsel
citron goby (likes to nip certain acros)
neon gobies
yashia haze gobies
red headed gobies
masked gobies
blue gudgeon
rainford gobies

I did watch a flame angel actually check out and then literally swim right up into and through a squamosa clam, though. Very depressing to see.

With my clams I have:
A Lamarack Angel (Truely reef safe)
A hippo tang
Jawfish
chromis
lawnmower blenny
6 line wrasse
clown goby

No problems with any of these...

I have kept blennies, flasher wrasses, assorted dartfishes, clowns, tangs, rabbitfish, gobies and mandarins with clams and had no problems. I currently have a juvenile blueface angel that has not caused any problems but I did have a midnight angel that was removed after taking bites out of clam mantles.
